TørrPels - a practical routine after wet walks
TørrPels is a soft drying coat for dogs that come inside wet after rain, a bath, the beach, a trip to the holiday house or a walk. It wraps around the body and fastens with an adjustable strap, allowing your dog to settle while the material helps collect moisture from the coat.
- Practical after rain, baths, the beach and wet walks.
- Helps reduce wet fur in the hallway, car and on the sofa.
- Adjustable fit around the body.
- Soft towel-like/microfibre feel against the coat.
- Covers the body while leaving the tail and hindquarters free.
- Easy to put on and take off as part of your everyday routine.
When your dog is wet, the house quickly gets wet too
After a wet walk, water and moisture from the coat can end up on floors, rugs, car seats and the sofa. TørrPels is designed for those moments when your dog needs a calm drying routine before lying down or getting into the car.
It is especially useful after rain, baths, the beach, swimming, wet bushwalks, trips to the holiday house and evening walks before your dog comes inside.
Soft coverage with an adjustable fit
TørrPels has a soft, towel-like feel and a simple shape that makes it easy to wrap around your dog’s body. The adjustable strap helps the coat sit more securely without turning it into a heavy full-body suit.
How to use TørrPels
- Measure your dog and choose the correct size.
- Wrap TørrPels around your dog’s body after a wet walk or bath.
- Fasten the strap so the coat sits comfortably.
- Let your dog settle while the coat helps collect moisture from the fur.
TørrPels is intended as a practical part of the drying routine, not as a guarantee that your dog will become completely dry without any further drying.
Measure your dog before choosing a size
Do not choose by breed alone. Dogs of the same breed can have different body shapes. Measure the neck, around the body where the strap fastens, and the back length from the lower neck/base of the collar to the base of the tail.
| Size | Neck | Body | Back length | Overall length |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 40 cm | 48 cm | 43 cm | 60 cm |
| M | 46 cm | 56 cm | 51 cm | 68 cm |
| L | 52 cm | 64 cm | 57 cm | 76 cm |
| XL | 60 cm | 74 cm | 65 cm | 86 cm |
| 2XL | 70 cm | 84 cm | 74 cm | 96 cm |
Between two sizes?
If your dog falls between two sizes, choose the size that best matches the body and back-length measurements. If the body measurement is close to the maximum, move up one size.
Material and care
TørrPels has a soft towel-like/microfibre feel. Gentle washing is recommended, and dark colours should be washed separately the first few times.
FAQ
Does TørrPels dry the dog completely?
No, that should not be promised. TørrPels is designed to assist with the drying routine and help collect moisture from the coat after wet walks or baths.
Can it be used after rain?
Yes, that is one of its main uses. It is especially handy after rain, wet walks, the beach, baths and car trips.
How do I choose a size?
Measure the neck, body and back length. Use the size chart and do not choose by breed alone.
Can it be used in the car?
Yes, it can be practical before your dog settles in the car after a wet walk. The car should still be protected when there is a lot of water or mud.
