Calm when it bangs, in two parts
NyttårsRo is a set of two different pieces: a vest with its own hood, and a soft grey ear wrap. The vest sits snugly around the body. The ear wrap goes over the head and covers the ears. Use them together or separately, depending on what your dog prefers.
The vest with its own hood
- Wide flaps that overlap around the chest and close with hook-and-loop
- High ribbed hood that sits like a collar and can be pulled up over the ears
- Reflective strip along the edge for dark evening walks
- 90% polyamide and 10% elastane
- Olive green or navy blue
The grey ear wrap
The ear wrap is a separate piece, not the vest hood. It is heather grey with black edges, has a padded oval panel over each ear and closes with hook-and-loop under the chin, leaving the face free. When your dog wears the ear wrap, fold the vest hood down. The ear wrap can also be used without the vest.

Practise in good time
Let your dog get used to the vest and ear wrap a few weeks before New Year's Eve, in short sessions with treats and calm. That way it links the set with good moments, not with the bangs. Always supervise, and take the set off if your dog gets warm or restless. Some dogs do not like anything on their head. No vest or wrap removes fear completely, so if your dog has strong anxiety, also talk to your vet.
You choose two sizes
The vest: measure the chest at its widest point, just behind the front legs. Weight is only a guide; the measurements decide. If your dog is between two sizes, choose the larger.

The ear wrap: measure around the head, over the top behind the eyes, over the ears and under the chin. The hook-and-loop can be tightened, so if your dog is between two sizes, choose the smaller.
